Wedding can be an expensive proposition for most of us, but if you are a billionaire or a super rich royalty, money does not matter. Take a look at the most expensive weddings in the history. We wish we were invited at least to some of them.

Britain's Royal Family has a reputation of throwing grand wedding parties, recent wedding of Prince William and Kate cost a little over $34 million dollars. Still that falls pale in comparison to wedding of William's parents. It was grandest wedding party ever thrown, as per estimates it cost anywhere between $70 million to a whopping $110 million dollars, in today's terms.
The guest list included 3500 people, with two million spectators lined up outside to watch the procession, along with 4,000 police and 2,000 military officers.
Lady Diana's wedding gown was valued at $45,000 and the wedding ring cost $100,000. Reportedly there were over hundred receptions and 27 wedding cakes.
